The Silicon Valley Arts Coalition was founded in 2001 by arts enthusiasts seeking to broaden the appeal and participation in the arts. SVAC currently has 10 member organizations and has included music, dance, drama, literary and visual arts. Our members strive to provide high quality arts at prices that remain affordable even through increases in operational costs. Individually we may be too small to attract the attention of mainstream media or qualify for volume discounts on advertising and other services. As a Coalition we command the same respect and bargaining power as larger organizations.
OUR GOALS:
-
Increase visibility and expand audiences for our members.
-
Leverage individual members’ efforts to promote the arts and arts education
-
Foster communication -both artistic and operational– among member groups
