About The Event
We will transition to a more rustic musical palette with Mikhail Glinka’s Kamarinskya, a work based on two Russian folk tunes, and George Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 1 in the second half of the program.
The concert will conclude with selections from Maurice Ravel’s ethereal Mother Goose Suite, conducted by Jenny Beyer Cornell in her final appearance as full-time Music Director of the New Millennium Chamber Orchestra.
